FAQ'S
DO YOU ALLLOW DOGS?
Yes, we are a dog friendly site. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and must be picked up after. ​

WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT?
Check in is after 14:00
Check out is before 12:00
All check in information is emailed to you a few days before your stay and contains all the information you need to access the site. Check in is remote, so you are able to arrive at a time which suits you.

CAN I FISH ON THE RIVER?
Yes, it is best to check out the local angling website for all information on fishing on the river -

CAN I BRING MY OWN PADDLEBOARD/ CANOE?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own paddle board/ canoe/ kayak with you. The launching is via the Henny Swan pub and it's best to check out their website for their rules on launching - ​

DO YOU ALLOW CARAVANS?
Yes, we do accept caravans on site. We recommend having chocks and a motor mover when staying with us.

HOW FAR AWAY IS THE RIVER?
The river is 100m from the entrance of our campsite. It is access to the public via the Henny swan garden. There is another small footpath which goes to the river 100m in the opposite direction to the pub.

DO YOU HAVE FIRE PITS?
Yes, we do have a fire pit on site. This is located in the fire pit/ picnic area on site​. It cannot be moved to pitches and remains in this area but it is for communal use and anyone can enjoy the use of this.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FIRE PIT ON MY PITCH?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own fire pit. You can use this on your pitch as long as this is propped off the ground for fire safety.

DO I HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR CHILDREN / PETS?​
No, you do not have to pay more for children or pets. These are all included in the price of your booking. We operate all inclusive pricing.

CAN I HAVE AN AWNING?
Yes, you are more than welcome to have an awning on your pitch if you wish. This is all included in the price.

CAN I BRING ANOTHER VEHICLE?
Yes, you are welcome to bring an additional vehicle. parking is on a first come, first serve basis. ​

CAN YOU PARK ON YOUR PITCH?
Yes, you are more than welcome to park your vehicle on your pitch or in the parking area at the top of the site.

DO YOU HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN AGE TO STAY?
Yes, a member of the booking who is staying on site for the full duration of the stay must be over the age of 18. We cannot accept bookings for groups under the age of 18.

​IS THERE A MINIMUM NIGHTLY STAY?
During peak times (June - August) we operate a two night minimum during the weekends and over bank holiday weekends. During off peak season, we allow one night bookings.

HOW DOES YOUR PRICING WORK?
We are all inclusive, which means you pay one price per pitch, per night, and this covers people, pets, awnings, electricity, water and cars.

CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE TENT PER PITCH?
Yes, we say you can fit three small one man tents or two medium or one large tent per pitch. Each pitch dimensions are available to view on the booking system.

CANI HAVE A PUP TENT WITH MY MOTORHOME/CARAVAN?
Yes, as we are all inclusive, you pay for your pitch and you can use this how you like, you can have pup tents, awnings, gazebos. As long as it is all fits and is contained on your pitch.

DO YOU ACCEPT CAR CAMPING?
Yes, we accept car camping.

DO YOU ACCEPT ROOF TENTS?
Yes, we accept roof tents.
​
CAN I BBQ ON MY PITCH?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own bbq which you can use on your pitch, as long as it is propped off the grass for fire reasons.

HOW FAR AWAY ARE THE ELECTRIC HOOK UPS?
We are working on adding an electric hook up box and water tap to each pitch this winter. For details on hook up points now. Please look at our map on our home page.​

ARE YOU OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND?
The camping is closed over the winter periods for site maintenance but the glamping pod remains open and bookable all year round.

DO YOU HAVE A MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF PEOPLE PER PITCH?
Yes, there is a maximum of 8 people per pitch, this includes children. If you are a group of 8 or more, you will need to book another pitch in addition. We are a small site and are restricted on the amount of people we have staying at any one time.

WHAT IS YOUR NOISE POLICY?
We have a strict noise policy of 11pm. No music or excessive noise is allowed beyond 11pm.

SITE RECCOMMENDATIONS?
We recommend having chocks if you are a motorised lodging as we are a sloping site.
​
We recommend having a motor mover if you are a caravan as we are a strip of land opposed to a field which can make accessing the pithes hard if you are not a confident maneuverer
​
We recommend having hard ground pegs for tent users as during the summer months our ground can get quite firm.
​
